Meet father and son team, Carinus and Petrus du Buson.  Their sole mission in the building industry is to give clients good products and good service.

Prostep Staircases have been manufacturing and installing concrete staircases for the past 29 years.  We are based in Witbank, yet our concrete staircases have been installed all over the country.

We have an extensive client base who will attest to our high standard of work.  Some of our faithful customers are Central Development, Glencore, Raubex, Van der Linde en Venter, Three I development (Ellijay Barayi Village Mega City) just to mention a few.  All the elements in our staircases system are made with reinforced concrete according to engineer's specifications to suit the client's needs.  Our staircases can be used in residential as well as commercial properties.  All components are made to be manhandled with installation, no crane required.

Our lintels are extruded and because of this extruding process we have a vast production capacity.  Our customers can collect immdediately or we will deliver to you.

The lintels can be applied to:

Sizes of the lintels varies from 600mm to 6 000mm in length.  We can custom the length to the clients spesification.  We make use of 2.64mm steel crimped wires.  The wire is prestressed to 60% of its breaking point.

The Cement we use complies with SABS ENV 197-1 strength class 42.5 of higher.  Load testing is done on a regular basis in accordance with SABS 1504-1990.

Concrete strength is tested on a regular basis in accordance with SANS 5863:2006 compressive strength of hardened concrete.
